FLUTE & PIANO RECITAL: CHERISHED MELODIES

5th July 2024, Holy Trinity Church Hall, Fortitude Valley QLD

Often performing together in Melbourne, ANAM alumnae Lilly Yang (flute) & Amanda Pang (piano) are thrilled to be presenting this concert exclusively in Brisbane. Join them for an evening of music tributed to love, union and more. Works by Franck, Martin, Schumann and Yohei.

FLUTE, OBOE & PIANO RECITAL: CONVERSATIONS

25th February 2024, Auburn Uniting Church, Hawthorn VIC

Presented alongside pianist, Amanda Pang and oboist, Jasper Ly, this recital aimed to celebrate works by composers such as Jacques Ibert, Madeleine Dring, Jean-Michel Damase, and showcased the 'conversations' in the music between the three instruments.

FLUTE QUARTET RECITAL: FANCIFUL FLUTES, FEATHERS & FLIGHT

5th November 2023, Yandoit Cultural Centre, VIC

Fanciful Flutes: Melbourne flute players and teachers join forces to present a diverse and exciting program of repertoire for flute quartets, quintets and choirs. 

With a goal of bringing flute music to all parts of Victoria, a 'wing' of Eliza Shephard's Fanciful Flutes travelled to Yandoit to deliver a concert centred around the theme of birds. This unique selection of pieces showcases the sounds of the alto flute, piccolo and C flute.

FLUTE DUO & PIANO RECITAL: BEYOND TIME

21st May 2023
Auburn Uniting Church, Hawthorn VIC

Established flute duo Rachel Lau (Flute), Lilly Yang (Flute) and Amanda Pang (Piano) came together to present an afternoon of evocative music featuring scintillating flute and piano compositions. 

Rachel, Lilly and Amanda first imagined the concept for "Beyond Time" while studying at the Australian National Academy of Music (ANAM) and have since developed it into a program that celebrates timeless chamber music written across three centuries. From CPE Bach to contemporary composer Yuko Uebayashi, and others in between, you will experience an afternoon to delight and inspire.

ELIZA SHEPHARD & A FANTASIA OF FLUTES: FANCIFUL FLUTES

19th February 2023, St Silas Anglican Church, Albert Park VIC

Spearheaded by Eliza Shephard, 'Fanciful Flutes' is concert of familiar and exciting new repertoire from Australia performed by a group of established Melbourne's flute teachers and performers.

Estrel Duo's debut performance in Brisbane. This program aimed to showcase the hidden gems of flute & harp repertoire by composers like Rota, Ravel, Di Marino, Saint-Saens and Piazzolla.
