Tijana Korzacic, Harp:

Tijana Kozarcic, born and educated in Novi Sad, Serbia, holds a Masters in Music Studies in Harp from the Faculty of Music Art in Belgrade under the instruction of Prof. Ljiljana Nestorovska where she also finished her Bachelor studies. Tijana also completed her second Masters of Music degree at the Queensland Conservatorium of Music in Brisbane under the instruction of Professors Sebastien Lipman and Sayo Lipman. For her studies at Queensland Conservatorium she was awarded the Griffith University incentive bursary at the commencement of her studies. After having a distinguished career in Australia Tijana has recently relocated to London and has been performing as a soloist, chamber and orchestral musician. Aside from Serbia, Australia and the UK, Tijana has performed in Slovenia, Hungary and Italy.

In Australia Tijana has performed extensively as a solo, orchestral and chamber musician. As a soloist, she has performed the Debussy’s Danse Sacree et Profane with the Revision Orchestra (2018) and Handel’s Harp Concerto as a soloist with the Brisbane Philharmonic Orchestra (2016), as well as a soloist in concerts organised by the Harp Society of Queensland. She has also performed Ravel’s Introduction and Allegro with the Next Generation Artists of the Southern Cross Soloists (2018). While based in Melbourne, Tijana performed regularly with Orchestra Victoria and performed in their collaborations with the Tokyo ballet, The Australian Ballet, Victorian Opera, Fringe Festival, Melbourne International Film Festival, etc. as well as performed with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra (MSO). While living in Brisbane, she had performed regularly with the Queensland Symphony Orchestra (QSO) including in many of their Maestro series, an Australian premiere of Philip Glass’ Symphony no. 11, and their collaborations with the Royal Ballet, the Bolshoi Ballet, La Scala Ballet and Queensland Ballet. She has also performed as Principal Harpist with the Opera Australia Orchestra at the Sydney Opera House and West Australian Symphony Orchestra (WASO).

A passionate pedagogue, Tijana has taught privately and at some of Brisbanes and Melbournes best music programs, including The Open Conservatorium at the Queensland Conservatorium of Music of Griffith University. She was the president of the Harp Society of Queensland and their Harp Ensemble leader for many years.

Lilly Yang and Tijana Korzacic are a part of a long-standing flute and harp duo. Since the group's formation in 2016, they have performed in multiple venues across Australia including the Queensland Parliament House, Brisbane City Hall, Maleny Community Centre, Trinity Lutheran Church, St Andrew's Uniting Church, Holy Trinity Church, Old Museum Building, Queensland Harp Society, Lady Cilento Children's Hospital and at various events organised by Griffith University. Lilly and Tijana have worked with each other for over half a decade and are available for weddings, recitals or special events.
