🍵Matcha Reviews: LE MILLE CREPERIE | Matcha Crepe Cake
LE MILLE CREPERIE is a small kiosk shop situated in the middle of Chadstone Shopping Centre (diagonally in front of Muji). The service is basic to say the least and there are about four tables that run along the back of the stand. There is enough space for you to sit and enjoy your cake, although with such a small seating area it can feel a little awkward if you overstay your dining period. The furnishing is stylised with fake flowers which give off a very cute floral vibe. This little cake shop offers a variety of crepe cakes in all sorts of flavours that you can purchase by whole or by slices as well as the standard cafe beverages.

The matcha crepe cake was very well made and had a great flavour. It was also presented nicely in a small plate accompanied by some gold utensils. The individual crepe layers were even and soft, and the cream spread in between had a clear matcha flavour that was well-balanced with sweetness. My only complaint is that the portion is quite small for a price point that is on the higher end. This is also definitely a cake that is best to have while dining in. I took this cake home once as takeaway and found that the cream had all but melted by the time I got around to eating it at home (but this is probably true for all crepe cakes).
Overall, LE MILLE CREPERIE is a good option to go for if you are craving specialty crepe cakes. The location in the middle of the shopping centre doesn't provide quite the private space for you to catch up with friends or study/work, but if push comes to shove you can definitely have a meeting there. The service isn't above and beyond, but at least they bring you the correct order in a timely fashion. The cakes taste great, but you don't get a very generous portion for the price charged.
