Flute / AMEB Theory
I offer flute lessons as well as theory lessons in my private home studio in Hawthorn East or online via Zoom. An additional travel fee of $10 applies if the lessons are to be held in the student's home. This is limited to a 10km radius from Hawthorn East.
I have completed a Bachelor of Music (BMus) in Performance and received my AMEB Amus with Distinction. With thirteen years of flute playing experience, I am no stranger to working with students ranging from complete beginner to advanced-intermediate levels aiming to take AMEB Practical Exams. I also have extensive experience in teaching young children to mature adults. Whilst different students set out to achieve different goals on their musical journey, my main focus in lessons will always be to improve the student's technical ability on the flute as well as cultivate their enjoyment in music.
What students will need: Their own flute that they can play on and (preferably) a music stand.
